La Dirección de la escuela “The Halton Catholic District School” provee de educación de calidad a mas de 29,000 estudiantes en 39 primarias y 8 secundarias en las comunidades de Burlington, Halton Hills, Milton y Oakville en Los Estados Unidos.  Con mas de 5000 equipos de cómputo en casí 50 Escuelas y casí 1000 Laptops, los 20 miembros del área de TI tenían que encontrar la manera de obtener un inventario preciso que les permitiera ser administrado de manera remota. Este post forma parte de una serie de post que iremos escribiendo con el fin de ayudar a nuestros clientes y amigos a aplicar las ventajas del uso del CRM aplicables a cualquier negocio y así contribuir a disminuir el impacto es sus negocios e incluso, en muchos casos, a mejorar sus negocios.

En los tiempos de crisis se hace mas evidente la necesidad de ser más efectivos en nuestras ventas y el CRM es una excelente estrategía que puede ayudar. Para empezar definiremos algunos conceptos que deben conocer y que son aplicables para microempresas y PYMES.

Share of Wallet

El llamado Share of Wallet define la cantidad proporcional de dinero que un cliente invierte en nuestros productos y/o servicios del 100% que este cliente tiene destinado para estos productos y/o servicios.

Así, por ejemplo, según la revista expansión en su articulo llamado “Los mexicanos gastan poco en medicinas” en donde expresa que en México cada persona destina 144 dólares al año en gastos farmacéuticos, usando estos datos y tomando como ejemplo a la farmacia “La Chispita”, que tiene 700 clientes mensuales y vende este mes 4000 dólares en medicamentos, podemos decir, que de acuerdo al gasto destinado por persona en esta misma farmacia, con esos mismos clientes tiene la posibilidad de vender $8,400 dólares (700 X 12) y solamente esta teniendo una SOW del 47%.

La operación realizada es la siguiente:

SOW anual = $144
SOW mensual = $12

Gasto por persona en la farmacia XYZ ($4000/700) = $5.71 por persona

Partiendo de estos datos podemos empezar a utilizar Zoho CRM para aumentar esta participación. Primero debemos crear los campos adecuados para conocer bien a nuestros clientes, estos varian de empresa y empresa, algunos que no deben faltar son: quienes son tus clientes, con que regularidad compran productos farmacéuticos, que no encontró con nosotros, a que hora es a la que prefiere comprar ( muchas veces a la hora que tiene oportunidad de comprar es en el horario de comida ya que es a la hora que sale de su empleo y precisamente a esas horas la farmacia “La Chispita” cierra), entre otros. Utlizar Zoho CRM para saber a detalle, cual es el volumen de compra por cliente y medir esta participación actual y despues definir una estrategia para aumentar el SOW con el conocimiento de tu cliente y los datos de ventas. Empieza con acciones simples que no te repercutan en gasto de dinero, pero siempre derivados del conocimiento de tus clientes y no de tus ideas de lo que “puede” funcionar. Dentro de estas estrategias no debes descartar los programas de recompensas y fidelización.

Este concepto es aplicable a todo tamaño de empresas y puede servir para definir una estrategía para aumentar las ventas, a mayor conocimiento de tu cliente tendrás mayores posibilidades de lograr mayores ventas.
